Dear Buddy,
I'm not just talking about the thunderstorm yesterday or the 68 degree day today. How can something so wrong, namely $60 shoes or a $70 hoodie, feel so right? I love these. Maria loves these. I would love to say that I exercised complete restraint and did not buy these due to sheer will-power and common economic sense. Let's go with that. Ignore the possibility that the hoodies does not come in her size and it's out of season anyway and the shoes...well, she tried them on and she is right in between sizes (no half sizes). One was too tight and the next size up was way too big. She chose some low-top Chucks in bright blue with a little faux crystal flower on the outside. Cute but....yawn.
BTW, Ava was not forgotten in my dangerous shopping trip yesterday. She got these:
