The Disney Trip Was a Trip!

A few days and a few thousand dollars later, I can say our Disney trip was awesome! We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is beautiful, sat on our balcony and watched zebras and giraffes freely roam a few feet away, traumatized our children with unimaginable crowds and the Dinosaur ride, were more gluttonous (and wasteful with food) than I thought possible, walked and walked and walked and walked, and enjoyed absolutely gorgeous weather. While each of us may have a different favorite moment, mine is in the following video clip (well, more like clipS).

This just gives you and idea of the portrayal of the Mad Hatter. Listen closely as he hates on the princesses and Mary Poppins - f-ing HILARIOUS!

The best clip of all:
We were enjoying a character breakfast that featured the Mad Hatter, Alice, Mary Poppins, Pooh, and Tigger. All was business as usual...the characters make their way around going table to table, spending a minute or two interacting with the children, signing autographs, and then posing for a picture. Without warning, everything turned surreal (as if Disney is otherwise "real"). Tigger was visiting a table in front of us and accidentally knocked over a glass of ice water. Next thing we know, Tigger is hiding under the table with his face in his hands. He didn't just do this for a moment, he stayed there while the staff cleaned it up. At one point, he picked up a butter knife and gestured like he was going to cut off his tail. Alice then took the knife from Tigger and this is when I turned on the camera.
