Ava came home very concerned about the state of our dining room! Fear not little monkey, mommy just has 176 (note: while I have been known to exaggerate numbers, this is an accurate count)boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to distribute. I'll be bringing these to work and school tomorrow and, God willing, people will have the money on them so my children won't be sitting on boxes to reach their dinners that will be served on boxes. This is the price I pay for being vicariously ambitious for my daughter whose only real concern was that she was able to buy a box and that she earn the little plush show dog. We've accomplished one of the goals but, sadly, our decor will have to survive without the plush show dog. If you come over, please don't point and stare at the empty space in my curio cabinet that was cleared among the HSN dolls and Precious Moments.
At this point, I am babble-riffic. Why? I'm out of my mind. Oh, and because I have three short-term goals this week: 1.) Squeeze in some kind of exercise each day, 2.) Get my house organized, 3.) Finish my research project....oh, and 4.) Get the girls clothes organized for the week. Goals such as these require heavy procrastination. So, let's see...I'm updating my very important blog for nobody to read, updating my iPod for all these upcoming work-outs I'm going to have, listening to the dryer buzz every 10 minutes letting me know it's time to get off my ass and fold the clothes, and carefully avoiding my dining room (which means avoiding the kitchen) so I don't have to look at the cookies since it will only stress me.
Wow, it's no wonder no one reads this anymore. It's really very boring. Fabulous.
xoxo
