2010 Woot Woot!!

If all goes as planned (ugh, talk about a jinxy statement), 364 days from now I will have:
*Completed graduate school
*Become a licensed and underpaid OFFICIAL social worker
*Turned 29 for the eighth time
*Figured out how to be compassionate without becoming an emotional trainwreck
*Figured out how to be durable without becoming an asshole
*Spent the last year contributing to the construction (rather than destruction) of well-adjusted girls
*Managed not to drive poor Mike away with my Amy-ness

I've always been scared of making declarations like, "I'm really happy" or "I love my life". I've seen the ways in which life turns upside down in a matter seconds for people, and I've always wondered if they had made similar statements in the days and weeks before. Wouldn't it be nice to avoid crises by simply anticipating their arrival?

I'll let that swim around for a bit while you enjoy some Kenny Powers goodness (check the very bottom of the blog).
